Speaker: Nicole Weis, MA, LPC, LAC. Nicole is the director of Healing and Community Programs at the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at UCCS. How can you be resilient in what has been called the “Anti-Social Century”. Nicole will discuss the effects of loneliness on physical health and life expectancy, and ways to build resilience even during challenging times. Come and be enlightened and inspired to help others.
An additional treat will be entertainment by Joe Uveges, a local singer-songwriter. He is known for his soulful acoustic style and heartfelt lyrics.
