About this Event
Caregiving can be both rewarding and overwhelming. This six‑month series introduces care partners to the practice of mindfulness — simple, practical techniques to reduce stress, increase resilience, and bring calm into daily life.
Each monthly session will explore:
- 🧘♀️ Breathing and grounding exercises to ease tension
- 🪷 Mindful awareness practices for navigating difficult emotions
- 💜 Compassion and self‑care strategies to sustain caregivers
- 🤝 Group reflection and support with others on the caregiving journey
- 🪑 Chair Yoga for gentle movement, flexibility, and relaxation accessible to all
Led by Jeanette Sagar, an experienced mindfulness and yoga instructor, participants will leave with tools they can use immediately to support their own well‑being while caring for a loved one with dementia.
