The 2026 Black History Month Fashion Show, hosted by Please Don’t Die Black Men (PDDBM), is more than a fashion event—it is a powerful celebration of culture, resilience, creativity, and youth empowerment. This event is designed for the entire community, with a special focus on uplifting Black youth and providing them with opportunities to showcase their talent, voice, and vision. Featuring student designers from middle and high schools across Clark County, this show highlights the next generation of creatives who are using fashion as a form of storytelling, identity, and cultural expression.
This year’s show will feature original, custom-designed garments created by student designers who have worked for months to bring their ideas to life. Attendees can expect a dynamic runway experience, live entertainment, music, and a high-energy atmosphere that blends art, culture, and purpose. In addition to the fashion showcase, the event will also serve as a graduation celebration for students in PDDBM’s Fashion Design Program, recognizing their hard work, growth, and accomplishments. Vendors, community members, and supporters will also be present, making this a well-rounded cultural experience.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with programming beginning in the late morning and continuing through the afternoon. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for seating, networking, and exploring vendor offerings. The runway show will be the centerpiece of the day, followed by acknowledgments, student recognition, and community engagement opportunities.
Important guidelines include respectful behavior, adherence to event staff instructions, and support of a safe, inclusive environment for all attendees. Tickets are required for entry, and select attendees may qualify for special access based on student participation. Refund policies and additional event details are available through PDDBM’s official ticketing platform.
The venue offers accessible facilities, including parking and wheelchair access, to ensure all guests can comfortably attend and enjoy the event. Clear signage and staff will be available to assist with directions, seating, and accommodations as needed.
Join us for an unforgettable day where fashion meets purpose, and where young voices are not only heard—but celebrated.
