Learn the basics stitches of crochet while you whip up a wash cloth. Yarn, crochet hook, and pattern are provided for all beginner level classes. This class includes a skein of Cascade Nifty Cotton Splash in your color of choice. The Nifty Cotton is a perfect yarn for projects like washcloths and hand towels that get a lot of use but also need to absorb moisture.
The recommended age is 10+ with little to no experience needed. Please note that in accordance with our liability policy any children in attendance must be accompanied by an adult. Class size is limited to 12 participants so sign up early!
Crochet I teaches a washcloth, learning the skills of a chain stitch then rows of the moss stitch.
Crochet II teaches a potholder, learning single crochet in a unique way. This course will also establish the groundwork for starting to work in the round.
Crochet III teaches a pot holder, learning the magic circle and crocheting in the round (These skills are highly recommended before advancing to Intermediate Crochet.)
