Dharma Jewel Monastery invites you to discover yourself through Zen meditation:
Our Beginner's Zen Meditation course starts Wednesday January 14, 2026 at 7pm, and you are invited! The course is weekly for five months and is a sequential, cumulative class. Meditation methods include Breath Counting, Mindfulness of the Breath, Loving-Kindness Meditation. Lecture topics include Introduction to Buddhism, Mindfulness, Karma, Causality & the Four Noble Truths. Completion of the Beginner's course allows progression to the next level of classes and eventually to the sutra study group. Come relax, focus, and explore the philosophy of our mind. Everyone is welcome to join!

Little Jewel: Children's class will be on many Sundays starting at 10am and includes story-telling, arts and crafts, and fun games. Appropriate for ages around 5 - 12. Please register in advance.
Meditation classes are also offered in Mandarin Chinese separately -- Chinese classes also enrolling!
DJM hosts Sunday service / Buddhist ceremonies on Sunday mornings, all are welcome to experience this traditional Chinese chanting of sutras and mantras, with English translation, followed by free vegetarian lunch: Next: January 25, 2026 at 9:20am
