Beginners Sensual Floorwork Class

Where does floorwork come from?
Sexy style floorwork dancing, characterised by sensual movements and fluid transitions, has its roots deeply intertwined with the art of strip tease. Originated by strippers and burlesque showgirls in the 19th century, who incorporated floorwork as a captivating element of their performances, enticing audiences with their seductive movements and daring looks.
Who are the classes for?
Absolutely any woman! Whether you have dance experience or you are a complete beginner, our classes provide a safe space for you to build up that confidence. The moves taught will be provided with modifications and personalisations depending on your own individual level, helping you train flexibility, muscular strength and confidence at the same time. What you'll need for this class:
-Water
-Pole/Floorwork Heels (optional)
-Dance knee pads (recommended to reduce injury risk) - You can buy the recommended kneepads from our shop. If kneepads are unavailable please bring alternative knee cover such as: leg warmers on knees, over the knee socks, stockings, leggings, joggers etc.
-Comfortable clothing to dance in, like gym wear/sportswear
-If you feel comfortable you can switch out your gym clothing for that lingerie set you bought a few years back and never got a chance to wear!
About the instructor:
Led by Yael, an XPole certified floorwork performer, burlesque & old school-influenced pole dancer who is a rising star in the London and Bristol floorwork and pole dance scene.
