Learn how your camera really works in this friendly 2-hour beginner workshop covering ISO, shutter speed, aperture, light, and composition.
About this Event

If you’ve ever picked up a camera and felt confused by all the settings, this workshop is for you.

A Beginner’s Guide to Photography is a relaxed, two-hour session designed to help you understand how your camera really works. You’ll learn the core principles of photography in a simple, practical way, without technical jargon or pressure.

We’ll break down the exposure triangle, show you how to control light, and give you the confidence to move out of auto mode. By the end of the session, you’ll understand how to make creative decisions and start taking photos you’re genuinely proud of.

Set in a beautiful private function, complete with a large screen TV, this classroom-based experience will feel more like a relaxed gathering than a traditional school setting.

As part of the event, you’ll also get access to our private Social Photography WhatsApp group, where members:

  • Share their photos
  • Ask questions
  • Get feedback and support
  • Join future photowalks and meetups
