Join us for an engaging and hands-on Beginner Crochet Workshop at Ed's Mercantile! This workshop will give you the skills you need to crochet a basic square or rectangle such as a scarf.

Working in Rows (Washcloth)
Date: Wednesday October 1st
Time: 4:00-5:45PM
Begin your crochet journey by learning essential skills: how to make a slip knot, chain, single crochet, and double crochet. Together, we’ll create a simple washcloth, introducing the fundamentals of starting and holding your work. By the end of this session, you’ll feel confident continuing your project at home!

In the following classes, you’ll learn:
🧵 How to crochet in a round to create a small pouch🧵 How to make a classic granny square—a versatile pattern used in many projects.
This is the perfect opportunity to build your skills, gain confidence, and explore the art of crochet in a fun and supportive environment!
Materials:
It is reccommended that you purchase a set of hooks with different sizes (3mm-6mm). Yarn and hooks will be avaiable to purchase at the workshop, or you can bring your own. Message us if you have any questions.
