10:00 AM – 11:00 AMTake a mindful moment to connect with your body, breath, and surroundings in the peaceful gardens of Topanga Nursery. This class is designed specifically for beginners and anyone looking for a gentle, supportive environment to explore the foundations of T’ai Chi.
In this class, you’ll learn:
A gentle yet activating energy warm up and routine
Basic T’ai Chi stances and gentle movements
How to move with balance, flow, and intention
Techniques to slow down, breathe, and ground yourself
No prior experience is needed — just bring comfortable clothing, water, and an open mind. After class, enjoy coffee from the onsite Just Vibes café, browse plants and flowers, pick up local honey, and say hi to the nursery bees.
Spots are limited to 12 participants to ensure a supportive space. Pre-registration is required.

Parking:
There is free one hour street parking on Topanga Canyon and additional street parking on side streets such as Chatsworth Ave.
Meeting area: Depending on heat exposure, we will be meeting towards the back of the nursery, or to the left under the shaded workshop structure. Signs will point you in the right direction on the day of.
