Discover the art of street photography in the bustling heart of London with our Beginner Street Photography Workshop.
Whether you're new to photography or looking to build confidence capturing life on the streets, this hands-on workshop will provide you with the essential skills and techniques to create compelling street images.
Led by an experienced Pro-Photographer, Cj Swaby (MA, RPS) you'll explore iconic locations, learn how to observe and anticipate moments, and develop your own creative style. The workshop will cover key topics such as composition, lighting, working with different camera settings, and approaching subjects with confidence and respect. You will improve your technical skills and develop your own unique way of seeing, putting the art into your craft.
Meeting at the iconic Photographer's Gallery, this engaging session includes a mix of practical shooting, insightful tips, and constructive feedback to help you refine your skills. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of street photography and the confidence to capture candid moments with authenticity.
All cameras are welcome, from mobile phones to DSLRs, or Mirrorless.

About Cj Swaby
Cj Swaby is a UK based Pro-Photographer. His passion lies in all forms of photography, but specialises in documentary and portraiture. Cj Swaby studied at Arts University Bournemouth where he achieved a Distinction in his Photography MA. He is a member of the Royal Photographic Society, and has over 10 years experience in photography, both analogue and digital.
