About this Event
Learn the crochet basics! This is a beginner crochet class so no experience is necessary. Classes are kept to a minimum of 6 people so you can truly learn the art of crocheting. Age 14+
PLEASE NOTE: Ages 16+. By purchasing tickets, you acknowledge that each attendee is at least 1 6 years of age.
All materials are included. Class attendees will learn how to crochet, read patterns, learn about various crochet hooks and yarn weights.
During the class, each student will construct a small stroller blanket measuring approximately 24" by 22". Note, attendees may require more time to complete their projects at home after the workshop. Available yarn colors may vary due to supply and demand. All attendees will be given yarn, a crochet pattern, crochet hook, 2 stitch markers and "made with love" tag.

Amanda has over 35 years experience crocheting. She was born and raised, and currently resided in Northport. She has a BSN in Apparel & Textiles from Oneonta State University, as well as an associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. On top of her creative studies, she received a BSN in Nursing at Adelphi University and currently works as a registered nurse. Amanda is very passionate about Art, and she also teaches various classes at Nest on Main.
