Beginner Birding at the Ripon River Trail

Join leader Henry Koertzen for a beginner birding walk for folks of all ages. Bring your questions! The starting point will be the gravel parking lot located at the south end of Jack Tone Road. The paths are smooth dirt and accessible by stroller or wheelchair.

First we will look for water and shore birds on the ponds, and then we will follow the path along the Stanislaus River. We have a few extra pairs of binoculars you can borrow.

Note: there are no bathroom facilities on site.

1260 S Jack Tone Rd, Ripon, CA 95366 on your navigation should get you there. Continue through the cul-de-sac on a narrow road to a gravel parking lot to the left.
