In this truly special event, Michael Francis conducts The Florida Orchestra and The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay in the supersized Mahler arrangement of Beethoven’s Ninth for an awe-inspiring Ode to Joy. The concert opens with the hauntingly beautiful Adagio from Mahler’s unfinished Symphony No. 10, a deeply emotional piece that showcases the composer’s late, poignant genius.
