After Parkour Takeover League announced we’d be running a Takeover in 2025, none of the official Takeovers ended up going ahead, so we’re doing what we do best and hosting our own. Independent. Raw. Proper. https://www.parkourtakeoverleague.com/
This isn’t a “local gym comp” vibe. The whole point of Bedford Takeover is to bring the WIDER UK parkour community into Bedford for a day of serious movement, serious energy, and real community. Of course our local athletes can join in too, but this one is aimed at the people who mean business, not just those who pop into weekly classes.

🧱 What is a Takeover
A Takeover is a city-wide challenge competition.
Competitors are given a list of challenges and will move around Bedford trying to complete as many as possible before the finish time. Challenges will vary in difficulty and style, and it’s up to each athlete how they approach the day and manage their time.
The winner is the competitor who completes the most challenges by the end of the event.

- This event is raw, unfiltered, unsupervised and entirely independent.
- Participants take sole responsibility for their own actions, decisions, and risk.
We still expect everyone to train with respect:

- Know your limits
- Respect the space and the public
