Becoming Trauma Informed

VictimFocus is pleased to present an advanced 3-day course to inform and empower professionals who would like to understand what it means to become trauma-informed in their own roles.

How do we best support someone without pathologising them? What are the different models of mental health, and which one does your organisation subscribe to? How do we support someone with their trauma responses and coping mechanisms without Medic*tion and harmful interventions?

This course is trauma-informed, anti-victim blaming, and works to protect and promote the rights of the person at all times.
