WORLD PREMIERE
“Welcome to the sky. Thank you for agreeing to stay forever.”
Triangle Person lives in the parking lot of Heaven with famous saint Mother Teresa and infamous killer whale Tilikum (AKA Chief Cumlord of the Seaworld Conglomerate). God lives right next door but has never come to visit. No matter. There is lots to do in the nice cloudy sky, many lives to slice, and all the time in the world to do it. >>Welcome to the sky<<
Beautiful Princess Disorder is a laugh-a-minute dreamlike fantasy for a new age. It’s got something to do with family too so thank you for agreeing to stay forever. We’re so happy to have you. >>The angels will be here to process you shortly<<
Beautiful Princess Disorder features an all-star cast of Catastrophic favorites Amy Bruce as Mother Teresa, Kyle Sturdivant as Tilikum, and T Lavois Thiebaud as Triangle Person.

“The rules that govern Ng’s theatrical plane are expansive and unencumbered, allowing for freer association of impulses and ideas. A queer sensibility in both form and content is evident throughout.” – New York Times

From playwright Kathy Ng “I suppose one of the main reasons I write is because I cannot afford to believe that adventure is dead. Getting to work with Catastrophic and having that be my introduction to Texas (specifically Houston!) has been a massive gift, and already one of the great grand adventures of my life. I feel so lucky. The artists here are fearless and restless. I can't help feeling we're making something together we're meant to make, and I can't wait to share it with this city.”
According to director Jason Nodler: “Kathy is a whimsically subversive new voice in American theatre and a quintessential Catastrophic playwright. We are all so grateful to know them. They are magical, they are a healer, and we feel honored to introduce their work to Houston audiences. Not all of our plays are for everyone, we know that; this one is.”
