About this Event
This session is designed to help landscape designers gain the knowledge and confidence to talk openly about budget and investment levels—and to create designs that reflect what clients can realistically afford.
Whether you:
- Design only and hand projects off to contractors, or
- Design and install part of the work while partnering with others for construction,
…this session will give you practical tools to align design vision with real-world budgets.
Jesse Brough of Blessing Landscapes will share real-world strategies to help you:
- Lead confident, professional budget conversations early in the process
- Ask the right questions to uncover true investment expectations
- Design intentionally around a defined budget range
- Offer phased or tiered options that give clients clarity and choice
- Adjust materials, scale, and scope without losing the integrity of the design
- Collaborate with contractors in ways that increase the likelihood of installation
You’ll also see real project examples that demonstrate a budget-informed approach results in more built work.
We’ll also discuss how designers—whether design-only or installing part of the project (such as plantings)—can increase income by partnering with trusted installation companies. When referred projects move forward into construction, designers may be able to earn a percentage of the installed work, turning built projects into additional revenue.
When more of your designs get built, you gain:
- Increased income
- A stronger installed portfolio
- Better photography and online presence
- Greater credibility with contractors
- More future design opportunities
This session is about replacing uncertainty with clarity—so you can guide clients professionally, design responsibly, and see more of your work come to life.
There are only 35 seats available so register early!
