Beanie Embroidery Workshop

About this class:

Come cozy up and learn a trendy (and toasty!) way to make your winter wear completely your own. This workshop is the perfect introduction to embroidery — no experience needed, just curiosity and creativity. Participants will choose from a variety of colorful, knitted beanies (adult and children’s sizes available). You’ll also receive a mini embroidery hoop and a set of beginner-friendly stitches that make it easy to personalize your beanie with your own aesthetic. Pom-Pom’s are a simple addition to any beanie.

Under the guidance of instructor Heather Wenz, you’ll learn simple embroidery techniques that open the door to endless possibilities.. You’ll even have the option to bring your own beanie if you’d like to add a few creative details.

Registration includes:

• Hands-on instruction and step-by-step guidance
• Your own personalized knitted beanie
• All embroidery materials (mini hoop, needles, and thread)
• A chance to relax, stitch, and create in a fun, supportive environment
  

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations… We know life happens, so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and prepare for each class. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any refunds or credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.

About your instructor:Heather Wenz is a local artist and educator with a passion for making creativity both fun and healing. She has taught in a wide variety of settings — from after-school art programs in Denver Public Schools to playful Paint Nights — and even while teaching English in China, she found ways to let her students express themselves through art when words weren’t enough. Her own artwork often features bright, vibrant, and geometric abstract paintings in acrylics. Heather has a true knack for helping people tap into their imagination and leave with something beautiful, personal, and unique.
