Horseshoe Ridge encapsulate all that’s wonderful about the Brecon Beacons. In just eight miles it manages to squeeze in a little bit of everything: an incredibly steep climb up onto Craig y Fan Ddu, a long and enjoyable approach to Corn Ddu and Pen y Fan (with amazing panoramic views) and a technical descent down Jacobs Ladder back onto the roman road - and home!

The initial climb is steep and will take around 20 minutes. The pace will be slow and we can stop and take breaks as required (it's not a race).

Halfway around the route (weather permitting) we will stop for a bite to eat and a chance to relax and enjoy the views.

The route is a mixture of well kept paths, a Roman Road, loose stone and steep grass banks. With potential for "slips, trips and falls", we strongly recommend suitable outdoor clothing / footwear.

If you have an interest in networking and enjoy the outdoors.... what a walk this is. The views are absolutely spectacular!

This is an informal gathering of like minded people with a focus on "all things business". As we chat, we will have the chance to take in some of the best views in Wales (and take lots of photos). Individuals are responsible for their own fitness assessment. It's not a race, but attendees will require the ability to walk varying terrain (with climbs) for several hours. If you decide to walk with us, you are accountable for your own fitness and safety and all money raised on the day will be donated to Ty Hafan. **We are not a business and this is not a professional / guided event**
