Step into your weekend during our outdoor hustle and line dancing sessions with the N’Namdi Movement Center and instructor Maurice Adams. Join us for Beginner and Intermediate sessions in an openair setting in the heart of the city! Learn the basics of non-partner dance styles like hustle, line dancing and ballroom with an experienced instructor in a beautiful outdoor space. Open to beginners and more experienced dancers.
Dates: Saturdays, June 20, July 18, Aug. 15 and Sept. 12
Time: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

We suggest wearing comfortable clothes you can move in, a bottle for filling at the water station and sun protection.
This class is FREE and OPEN to the public. Space will be limited based on park capacity
The N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art presents diverse, multi-disciplinary and engaging art experiences. It serves to promote and perpetuate the cultural legacy of African-American and African diasporic art, along with art from diverse cultures. Since its conception in 2010, the N’Namdi Center has contributed to the Detroit arts scene by presenting art exhibitions by nationally and internationally renowned artists as well as local and emerging talent.
