About this Event
On July 18, BE Fest kicks off in Toronto, ON. After two years of screenings in bars and cinemas across the city, Bleeding Edge will be holding two nights of cutting edge independent cinema at Paradise Theatre, along with a night of music at Houndstooth.
Tickets for the event can be found HERE! The concert will be PWYC and you may purchase tickets for single screenings, evening passes or a full weekend pass.

July 18:
BE Fest Opening Night Party @ Houndstooth
Performances from hometown punks Only God Forgives at Houndstooth, followed by New York indie rocker Matthew Danger Lippman.
Bleeding Edge has previously screened the music video for Only God Forgives’ “Green Sand” as well as frontwoman Shelby Wilson’s film . Lippman previously directed the short film Ain’t No Cure for Love: America, which screened at our first event in 2022.
We’re excited to bring these two acts back for a night of musical mayhem at Houndstooth!

Two body-snatching aliens try to survive in the American mid-west in The Becomers (2023), a low-key science fiction comedy from indie filmmaker Zach Clark (White Reindeer, Little Sister). Starring Molly Plunk, Isabel Alamin, and featuring the voice of legendary Sparks front man Russell Mael!

Berman’s March
The sophomore feature from Jordan Tetewsky and Joshua Pikovsky, whose film Hannah Ha Ha won the Grand Jury Prize at Slamdance Film Festival in 2022. In Berman’s March, the filmmakers turn the humanist eyes toward an underachiever who goes on a road trip to meet up with his high school friends for a weekend in the woods. Starring Charlie Robinson as the titular character.
