It's October, so dance if you dare!
Note: The beginner class starts at 6:30pm to get a full 90 minutes of lesson 🙂
Where: Bonsor Recreation Complex, 6550 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5H 3G4 (in the "Banquet Hall")
When: Saturday October 18th, 2025
Doors: 6:15 pm
Free Beginner Lesson: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Social Dance: 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm
(No intermediate lesson this month.)
DJ TJ will be playing the music all night!
Celina will be teaching the beginner lesson 🙂
Celina Villarroel-Whiting began her dance journey at the age of 8, starting with Modern dance and then expanding her training to Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Salsa, Bachata, Ballroom, Samba, Dancehall, Heels, and West Coast Swing. She is a professional dancer and instructor with credits that include music videos, corporate events, stage shows, GoGo dancing, and dance competitions. She is a graduate from SFU with a BSc. Kinesiology and has worked as a Practicing Kinesiologist and fitness instructor alongside her dance career. Her expertise in both dance and kinesiology allows her to help teach her students how to master their own unique movement.

Beginner Lesson: Free!
Social Dance: Members: $12 / Non-Members: $15 / Students: $7
For the safety of everyone, please do not bring breakable water bottles (glass, ceramic, etc.) into the dance areas.
And remember to bring your non-marking indoor shoes!
