BBB Cycling Night Ride

Short days, cold air, quiet roads, this is what Off Season riding is all about. Join us for a Friday night ride with BBB Cycling, where we ride into the dark, test bike lights, and ease into the weekend together.

• We’ll gather from 16:30 at Ride Out for a fresh cup of coffee, made by your favourite Ride Out baristas.
• At 16:45, the team from BBB Cycling will take us through their range of bike lights. What they’re designed for, how to choose the right setup, and what really matters when riding in the dark.
• At 17:00, we head out for a social night ride of approximately 45 km, riding at an average pace of 26–28 km/h.

This ride is all about riding smarter in the dark. Curious how many lumens you really need, or thinking about upgrading your bike lights? This is the perfect chance to test them in real conditions.

BBB Cycling provides 12 complete light sets, fully charged and ready to go.
Lights are available on a first come, first serve basis — so please bring your own lights as a backup, just in case.

Back at Ride Out, we’ll wind down together with a drink — beer or something warm — and a well-earned slice of pizza at the bar.

You’ll have the chance to share your feedback with the BBB Cycling team and purchase any lights you tested with a 25% discount.

Our store got a fresh new look, our Ride Out bus rolls out for special rides, and we’re turning up the volume online so you won’t miss a thing.
