Join us as we participate in Bay View Gallery Night 2021! This family friendly stop will include an interactive art station for children and adults alike. Visitors are encourage to bring a donation for our Emergency Food Pantry.
Our featured artist Christine Burke will be showcasing her pop art inspired and abstract paintings.
A note from the artist:
"I was born and raised in the Bay View area in Milwaukee, WI. The neighborhood offers a lot in the artist community which is something I have always loved about our neighborhood. I have been a part of many galleries and art events in the city. I am a self taught artist, I have been painting for many years, I also teach paint classes at The Farmhouse Paint and Sip.
Most of my paintings are based on things that interest me, a lot of pop culture like video games, anime, comic books, etc. However lately I have been working on abstract and scenery paintings.
You can tell a lot about an artist based on their work, and that is one of the reasons I love painting. It really does express who you are and what you are passionate about. You can really see when someone puts their heart and soul into it, and that is the best kind of art.:
