About this Event
lant Parenthood is a community organization focused on the intersection of modern parenting and the intentional use of psychedelics and plant medicines. Our in person integration circle is a safe space for our community to gather, connect with other parents, share experiences, knowledge, insights and provide gentle accountability for our peers.
This group will be lightly facilitated by Mason. While the group is open to all, we will be particularly focused on how psychedelics and psychedelic integration relate to parents. Themes for exploration may include:
- How to talk to kids about plant medicines and psychedelics
- Coping with stigma and shame in parent communities
- Adolescents and teen use of psychedelics
- Integration as a family process
- Healing intergenerational trauma
- Talking to your parents about psychedelics
Mason Wilson-Tanev (she/her) is a midwife, somatic psychedelic facilitator, and PhD candidate in Anthropology and Social Change at CIIS. Her research explores underground psychedelic communities and the ways they create collective systems of care, accountability, and mutual support. With over two decades of experience supporting parent through life transitions—from birth to spiritual emergence—Mason is passionate about integrating expanded states into embodied, relational living. She is particularly interested in the wisdom of plant beings, postpartum transformations, and the ethics of care beyond institutions.
