The 2026 Wildflower! Battle of the Bands is presented by The Zoo. This epic competition begins with a qualifier round featuring up to 12 bands on April 18 at 2:00 p.m.During the qualifier, a panel of judges will select two bands to advance directly to the finals at Wildflower!. An additional two bands will move on to an online fan-vote contest, where audiences will decide who earns the coveted third finalist spot.
All three finalists will perform live at the festival on Sunday, May 17, on the Texans Credit Union Stage, in front of the Wildflower! audience. From these performances, a Grand Prize Winner and Runner-Up will be selected. Individual honors will also be awarded for Outstanding Lead Singer, Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer, and Keyboardist.
All band members must be 21 years old or younger.
Minimum of 3 members in each band.
The deadline to apply is March 22.
