Welcome to the 7th Annual Battle at The Fort. As many of you are well aware, I've been battling cancer, and the verdict is still out on whether I will be able to play this year, but I'm hopeful. Regardless, this tournament must go on as it has become a staple in the SWFL golf landscape.
The tournament is being held a month earlier due to scheduling availability at FMCC, but we will receive the benefit of playing the course prior to aerification (greens will be perfect).
The tournament is a Two Man, Handicapped Event. Day 1 being a Shamble format and Day 2 being a Scramble format.
Friday, May 1st at 6:00 - Registration
Saturday, May 2nd at 12:30 - Round 1 Shamble Format, Shotgun Start
Saturday, May 2nd at 6:30 to 9:30 - Entertainment TBA
Sunday, May 3rd at 12:30 - Round 2 Scramble Format, Shotgun Start
Sunday at 6:00 - Awards Ceremony
Lunch will be served both days starting at 11:30 AM for all registered players.
New Tee Box Rule for players 65+. They will be playing the gold tees.

Entry Fee is $600 per team ($300 per person), which will allow for the largest purse yet.
