A group of students walk into a bar and…discover a comedy technique class. This course explores classic comic tropes such as Misunderstanding (I’m sorry, I’ll write that again), Incongruity (that doesn’t fit with Misunderstanding!) Repetition (I’m sorry, could you write that again?) Timing, (cough) Havoc, (Ohmygodwillyoujustfinishwriting thecourse description!!) and Surprise (clothing optional*) Previous Narrative Improv experience required, or consent of the instructor. *Clothing is not optional.
We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. BATS Improv Class Refund Policy
All class sales are final. In the event we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
