7 Dates of Training - Build and advance your professional mediation, communication and negotiation skills with direct opportunities to apply your training in court and in the community. This training applies to anyone interested in growing their communication skills. Gain valuable skills in basic mediation as well as additional court mediation training, if desired. Obtain practical training that you can use in your professional and personal life.
This course meets all the requirements for a basic mediation training program as required by the California Dispute Resolution Programs Act. Attendees who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion. This course may help attorneys qualify to become “a certified alternative dispute resolution firm, provider, or practitioner” under the program being designed to implement the recently enacted SB 940.

MEET THE TRAINERS:
Martin Eichner has partnered with Roy Gordon to present Project Sentinel’s Basic Mediation Training course for the last six years.
Martin has been a mediator, facilitator and trainer for more than 20 years. He was the Project Sentinel Director of Dispute Resolution Programs for twelve of those years. During those years, he administered dispute resolution programs and day-of-court unlawful detainer mediation programs in the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Since retiring from Project Sentinel, he has continued to work as a mediator and facilitator, both professionally and on a volunteer basis in a variety of subject areas. He also serves as an arbitrator and hearing officer for a number of local government rent control programs. Throughout his career, he has designed and presented training workshops covering conflict management, dispute resolution and communication skills.
Roy has mediated in the community and courts for over 30 years. He has trained many mediators and communicators, and has extensive experience in juvenile and challenging mediations.
