Founder Basecamp is a 2.5 day interactive investment-readiness program that has been delivered to +1,200 founders worldwide in more than 18 countries across North America, Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. This class is typically run at $1000 per person - thanks to Yukon Venture Angels, Yukonstruct, and Yukon University I&E, this session is subsidised to be accesible for entrepreneurs of all levels.
Founders Basecamp runs on November 29, 30 (full day) and Dec 1, 2025 (evening). This is 2.5 days of forming your executionable capital strategy.
During the first 2 days, an experienced team of investors from Valhalla Private Capital will walk founders through the ins and outs of raising capital while providing insight from the investor perspective. We then wrap up with a Pitch Event that gives you the opportunity to practice what you’ve learned and get feedback from experienced local and national investors.
Founder Basecamp is designed for Founders and entrepreneurs who are past the idea-stage, starting to grow their business and actively seeking to better understand capital or even preparing for a fundraising round within 3 – 8 months.
Truly, these sessions are for anyone building and growing their business, actively seeking capital or looking to better understand. You may want to attend as a larger organisation looking for funding from a project or as an NGO with capital assets and infrastructure projects.
A pitch night and networking event will also be happening on December 1st in conjunction with this event where participants that went through the 2-day base camp will have the opportunity to pitch to investors, experts, and the community.
A separate Eventbrite registration will be shared for those interested in attending the pitch night - Dec 1, 6-9pm.
