About this Event
Celebrate two decades of community at the BarrioFest, a family-friendly wellness tianguis honoring the 20th anniversary of Vox Veniae with traditional healing, live music, and a bustling marketplace featuring local authors, poets, indigenous organizations, and Austin’s vibrant cultural workers.
Recieve a traditional limpia, meet local authors, learn from herbal workshops, sip from the tea bar, meet indigenous organizations, enjoy tamales and piñatas with the family, and stay for the music.
BarrioFest is a unique, donation-based celebration designed to bring the heart of the community together for a night of music, art, and wellness. Taking place at Vesper, this festival offers a rich tapestry of experiences of ancestral medicine, herb classes, live performances, and local flavors.
