We start our journey with the bean. You will gain insights into global coffee cultivation and understand how different roast levels (from light to dark) influence the flavor profile in your cup.
The Focus: The Perfect Espresso The heart of every barista's skill set is espresso extraction. We reveal the formula for the "God Shot" and demonstrate the interplay of the four crucial factors:
- Grind Size: How to dial in the grinder precisely.
- Pressure: Why 9 bars aren't always the only rule.
- Temperature: How heat controls acidity and bitterness.
- Water: The importance of correct mineralization.
Milk Foam & Latte Art What is a cappuccino without the perfect crown? We will share Barista tricks for a clean workflow and teach you how to steam silky, micro-foam milk. To finish, we practice Basic Latte Art: With the right pouring technique, you’ll soon be pouring your first heart on your coffee.
