Caffeine Solutions is back with another edition of the Barista Redefined Challenge!
BRC aims to take the role of the barista to the next level through the use of automation and giving baristas a platform to embrace and showcase their craft.
This year, baristas and coffee enthusiasts can compete in not one... but TWO tournaments. Pick your poison (or choose both!) of either a latte art throwdown or a signature beverage challenge on two different state-of-the-art espresso machines from Eversys and La Marzocco respectively.

At Caffeine Solutions, we love using the best of technology to push the boundaries of the coffee industry. This year, we're introducing the Eversys e4ms Classic into the mix for our baristas to pour their best in a fast-paced, knockout-styled latte art competition. Be the ultimate champion in the grand finals!
1st Prize $800 Cash

3rd Prize $100 Cash
All competitors will receive a goodie bag worth $50 of merchandise from event partners.

Rules & Regulations
- Competitors will be contacted directly to book a practice session at Caffeine Solutions, Singapore on either 17th or 18th April 2024.
- There will be no other practice session prior to the Latte Art Throwdown.
- Advancement of winners will be based on the decision of judges.
- Only cups, coffee and milk provided by the organiser will be allowed; baristas will be required to bring own pitchers, etching tools etc.
- No adjustment to settings (espresso or milk frothing) is allowed.
- All decisions made by the judges are final - no appeals allowed.
SIGNATURE BEVERAGE CHALLENGE
Do you have what it takes to create a showstopping signature beverage? Prove it in BRC 2024’s X-Challenge!
We're introducing a new style of competition utilising La Marzocco's highly anticipated Strada X. Pull your best espresso using the Strada X’s mass-based profiling and craft a non-alcoholic signature beverage to impress our judges.
Dazzle the judges with the most innovative and unique concoction and be crowned the champion!

- Only coffee and milk provided by the organiser will be allowed; baristas will be required to bring own serve ware, ingredients, jiggers, mixers etc for their signature beverage.

BRC 2024 Competitions - Terms & Conditions ('event')
This event is organised by Caffeine Solutions Pte Ltd (“CS”).
Once a participant has registered for the event and his/her participation has been confirmed by CS, no refunds are allowed.
Should the registered participant be unable to attend the event for any reason, he/she is entitled to send a replacement.
The registered participant must transfer their ticket via the Eventbrite portal.
CS may postpone, cancel, interrupt or terminate the event at any time due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control without any liability to CS or its sponsors or partners. CS may also change the event venue.
If the event is postponed to a new date or cancelled, CS shall give notice to the participants as soon as reasonably practicable.
CS reserves the right to vary, add, withdraw or substitute advertised programmes, prizes or change event times, venue or audience capacity without prior notice.
By registering for the event, each participant agrees that;
Any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used and/or disclosed to CS for various purposes, including to communicate with the participant for purposes related to the event, to provide goods and services to the participant upon request, and such other purposes CS may reasonably deem appropriate, or in relation to which the participant has otherwise provided CS with consent;
CS may collect, use, disclose and share amongst themselves and their respective service providers, the participant’s personal data, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings of these participants (“Material”) for publicity and/or use in advertisements across all media, including, without limitation, in CS’s publications, presentations, promotional materials on their websites, in its original or edited format, and whether to promote the Event or otherwise without further notification, remuneration or compensation; and the copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Material shall vest solely and absolutely in CS without further compensation.
CS shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in connection with registration for, attendance at, postponement or cancellation of the Event, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
Entry to the event venue will be subject to the venue’s prevailing terms and conditions of entry.
Organiser reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission or evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the event by others.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and participants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
