"Restorative Justice, Restoring Community Power"

The first and only Black pastor of a U.S. president, President Jimmy Carter and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter.

National leader in restorative justice and criminal justice reform.

Pastor Tony Lowden, a national leader in restorative justice and criminal justice reform, has led many campaigns and movements dedicated to healing and community empowerment. Pastor Lowden’s work focuses on the simultaneous transformation of individuals and communities. Democracy requires a consistent transformation in all areas of our lives. He has served two US presidents and the State of Georgia in the creation of servant leadership models.


Congresswoman Lee regularly invited Members of Congress to the Sunday School lessons taught by President Carter and Pastor Tony Lowden at Maranatha Baptist Church, President Carter's home church.
