Bar Rioja is putting on a Rioja festival following the success of their first one in 2025.
It will be held in the gorgeous Victorian courtyard tucked away off Pentonville Road in London’s King’s Cross, where tables manned by expert suppliers will be pouring tasters of examples of some of the best contemporary winemaking in the region.
Included within the ticket price of just £50:
- 16 delicious tasters of a variety of white, sparkling, rosé and red wines all from the Rioja region in northern Spain
- Plate of paella (either prawn and chicken 'Mixta', or vegetarian 'Verduras')
- DJ from mid-afternoon until late in the evening for those who’d like to stay on. Expect a proper party if last year was anything to go by!
Tasting tables will be set up within the courtyard, lounge, terrace and large bar. Other activities will include a jamón expert carving delicious Ibérico ham, tapas available to order throughout the day, and all wines available at 30% discount to take away. Plus, a free raffle to win a jeroboam of a superb red Beronia Rioja Reserva. The adjacent 120 capacity restaurant will be open all evening.
Bar Rioja, which opened in 2023, is a small bar with a terrace within the courtyard at Camino specialising solely in the wines from the three sub-regions of Rioja. All 50 wines are available by the glass.
Camino is a group of four Spanish restaurant/bars in London celebrating the best tapas from around the country and specialising in succulent cuts of high-quality meats cooked on the Basque grill, with wines to match.
