Join Crested Butte Search and Rescue for two nights of exhilarating adventure and mountain culture films! We are proud to once again host the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour, featuring a unique lineup of films for each evening.

This marks our 33rd consecutive year bringing this world-renowned film festival to the Crested Butte community. As an all-volunteer organization, CBSAR relies on this major fundraising event to support our ongoing search and rescue operations. Your ticket purchase directly helps us keep serving our community.

Film Programs

Each night offers a completely different selection of films, ranging from 2 to 40+ minutes in length. We encourage you to join us for both nights to experience both amazing programs.

The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour was born from the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival in Alberta, Canada. What began in 1976 as a small, one-day gathering of climbers has grown into a premier international event. Today, the World Tour reaches over 40 countries and attracts more than 550,000 attendees annually across 550 locations worldwide.

After expenses, all ticket sales go directly toward the ongoing operations of the Crested Butte Search and Rescue Team. We are grateful for your support in celebrating the spirit of adventure and helping us maintain our mission.
