About this Event
Make Studio, a nonprofit art center and collective of disabled artists, is proud to once again present Baltimore’s 4th Annual Disability Pride Arts Fest! In partnership with the Maryland Department of Disabilities and the Enoch Pratt Free Library, the fest will feature resource offerings from over a dozen disability and arts organizations. NEW this year, select Make Studio teaching artists will be providing a schedule of mini art workshops, including make-your-own tribute portraits and creating mini Sculpey clay cakes. This year's stage performances will include some returning favorites and a few new special guest performers! As always, this Disability Pride Month event is free, accessible, and inclusive. Disability Pride Month marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and disability pride is all about accepting each person’s uniqueness and honoring the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community.
All are invited to come together to learn and to celebrate creativity, human diversity, and people with disabilities and their many contributions to society.
