Our oven mitts are on and our hearts are wide open. I'm joining forces with some fellow bakers at the Bakers Against Fascism community bake sale. In addition to our love of baked goods, we believe that caring for one another is a powerful act. We are committed to protecting our neighbors, showing up for our community, and standing firmly against the forces that divide or dehumanize.You’ll find tables filled with cookies, bars, breads, pastries, and specialties from multiple vendors. Each baker will be selling our own goods and choosing a community organization we each want to uplift, donating a portion of our profits to support that group’s work. It’s a delicious way to explore a variety of treats while learning about the many organizations in our community that defend dignity, inclusion, and safety for all. This bake sale is about more than desserts; it’s about choosing solidarity, choosing community, and choosing to rise together.
When you stop by—whether for a snack, to support a vendor, or to connect with the causes they champion—you’re joining a collective effort to care for one another because in Minnesota, we know that care continues to be incredibly important.
