America 250 with the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra + Strings
Info: The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra presents ALJO + Strings, a gripping concert that reimagines the canon of Latin jazz. The program includes never-before-heard orchestrations of works by Chico O'Farrill, new compositions by Arturo O'Farrill, and fresh arrangements that combine the power of the rhythm section with the emotional depth of the string textures. This performance is presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hall's United in Sound festival: America at 250.
