A couple things going into the week and the competition this weekend: THIS IS IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!
1. We will be closed Friday 10-03-25 and Saturday 10-04-25. We will resume regular classes Monday.
2. The sparring helmets we use are approved for the karate/point sparring. Do not register to compete in WT sparring. PICK UP YOUR SPARRING GEAR BY THURSDAY AT THE LATEST!!!
3. If you are competing in forms, register for ITF forms. Do not register for WT forms. This covers all your named forms, not Kihon.
4. The week ahead will be focused on competition readiness for students who are competing. We will try to have you as ready as you can be. Make sure you are practicing on your own time as well.
5. Best conduct at the tournament. You are representing yourself and 5PDA. We expect all students to be on their best behavior and show respect to all other competitors, judges, instructors and guests there.
6. Win or lose, be gracious in victory or defeat.
7. Have fun. This is a big event for all students and a new experience for most. Enjoy your time there.
