Backyard Fowl Keeping Class
Come join us for a fun and educational fowl-keeping class, and learn everything you need to know about raising chickens and ducks. This in-person program is taught by Flock Sitting MN owners Craig & Dana Heinen and will cover topics like breed selection, predator-proofing, everyday care, permit processes, biosecurity, and everything else you will need to ensure the safety and happiness of your flock. This class satisifes the educational requirement for Minneapolis and many Twin Cities metro suburbs.
Doors open at 12:00pm with class beginning at 12:30pm. We are a corner house on 71st and Stevens in Richfield, and parking is allowed on both sides of either street.
Biosecurity: All attendees are required to have clean shoes or shoe coverings. Options include:
- Indoor shoes that are free of dirt/visible debris
- Outdoor shoes that have been cleaned and sanitized
- Clean shoe/boot covers*
*We will have a few extra of these on hand for anyone that needs them.
