Want to learn more about backpacking? The NCT Western Michigan Chapter is offering two orientation meetings and a 3.5-mile-each-way "intro to backpacking" overnight trip. The orientation meetings are both recommended, and attending at least one of them is required to join the trip.
Orientation #2 is at 6:00 at the Sparta Township Library, 80 N. Union St., Sparta. “How to pack a backpack”. You may bring your backpack and gear and pack it with us.
