Backing the Tune: Irish Fiddle Beyond the Melody

Explore how the fiddle can add rhythm, harmony, and texture behind the tune. Co-taught with Melissa Brun, we’ll work on a few traditional Irish tunes and cover:
• Chopping and rhythmic drive
• Chording and harmonic support
• Countermelodies and fills
• Supporting other melody instruments
Best for fiddlers comfortable with Irish tunes and ready to explore accompaniment skills.
Tuition: $50
