About this Event

Back To Your Body - Tuning Into Your Felt Sense

Join us in person for a refreshing experience where you’ll reconnect with your body's wisdom and healing ability.

This event is all about tuning into your felt sense and learning how to notice the subtle bodily sensations that guide you from within.

Come as you are, relax, and explore new ways to be present with your emotions, and what you push down and avoid. An opportunity to slow down and listen to what your body really wants to tell you!

Building Safety & Expanding Capacity

If you’ve done the positive thinking, the analysing, the understanding… and still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected — this is where we shift out of the mind and into the body.

This workshop is a practical introduction to foundational somatic work and energetic practices, helping you learn how to work with your nervous system, your bodily sensations, and unprocessed trauma, rather than constantly pushing against them.

You will learn how to feel it - to heal it - in a safe and supportive environment.

You’ll be guided through a series of grounded, structured practices designed to build safety, awareness, and capacity at a pace your system can actually handle.

Building safety and restoring homeostasis is the cornerstone of healing.

Alongside this, you’ll experience breathwork and qigong practices with Max tailored to different nervous system states — giving you simple, effective tools you can use in everyday life.

We’ll close the session with a guided sound bath, with Jo from Yoga Corner allowing your system to integrate the work, settle, and land in a deeper state of regulation.

Faraday will take you through the process of:

Felt sense awareness — learning how to tune into your body’s internal signals, not just your thoughts

Orienting — using your environment to create immediate cues of safety

Resourcing — building internal anchors of stability and support

Pendulation — gently moving between activation and safety, so you can process without becoming overwhelmed

This isn’t about pushing through, catharsis, or “fixing” yourself. It’s about learning how to feel, safely, gradually, and with more control.

Out of your head, into a heart-centred state - that's where Max takes the room; with 18 years practicing, 6 teaching, qualified with YogaLap years back, he'll be leading the qi gong and breathwork through the evening, blending NLP into the practice so you're not just breathing and moving, you're subtly shifting the patterns running underneath.

Expect to leave clearer, calmer, with a sense of internal power and strength and noticeably more in your body than when you walked in.

To end the practice the beautiful Jo will provide you with a sound bath to integate the work you have done in the session.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You feel overwhelmed, shut down, stuck in patterns you understand but can’t shift
  • You want practical tools and techniques, not just more insight
  • You’re ready to build a more regulated, resilient relationship with your body
  • You want to learn and build a strong foundation for healing.

Somatic Practice:

Somatic practice is a body-based approach that helps people become more aware of the connection between their nervous system, emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations. Stress and trauma are not only experienced psychologically — they are also held within the body through tension, hypervigilance, shutdown, and dysregulation.

Somatic practices can help calm the nervous system, increase feelings of safety, improve emotional regulation, and support the release of stored stress responses over time.

Disclaimer:

Please note: This workshop is educational and supportive in nature and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. Somatic practices can sometimes bring up strong emotions, sensations, or memories. You are encouraged to participate at your own pace, take breaks when needed, and seek additional professional support if required. By attending, you take responsibility for your own wellbeing and participation throughout the workshop.
