At Blitz, we believe that good parties don't just happen out of nowhere, purely by chance - but that it takes people putting on parties with passion and attention to detail. The best hosts have an eye for the bigger picture as well as the patience to make even the tiniest puzzle pieces fit together.
We greatly appreciate these qualities in the Kellerkind crew, who have rightly earned a good reputation with their events. With their two festivals Schall im Schilf and Back To The Woods, the group stands for subculture-oriented open airs with excellent booking at the intersection of techno and house and brilliantly bridge the gap between luminaries, promising newcomers and the backbones of our respective local scene. They develop and shine with an an impressive scenery of elaborate stage and lightning designs in which one is too happy to lose oneself.
Therefore, we are happy to host the aftershow parties of both festivals at Blitz. The Schall im Schilf afterparty in July was already a sweaty, and lively event with countless delighted festival-goers, and the anticipation for our upcoming Back To The Woods Festival bash couldn’t be higher! We’re looking forward to acts like KI/KI, who shines with her nonchalant cheerful and euphoric trance, house and techno blend, with a pronounced focus on sounds of the 90ies. Philippa Pacho and Volvox, on the other hand, will whip you into the late hours with dark and electrifying sounds.
The key to every good club night lies in the best residents, so none other than our trusted friends from Glaskin on the BLITZ Floor and 600-cell on the PLUS Floor will deliver nonstop-quality tunes for you. We have another special guest from oversea on the PLUS Floor tonight: Cashu from Sao Paolo plays exhilarating, angular acid techno on the floor, but is also a cultural-political activist for vital queer spaces in Sao Paolo and left a personal mark on us with her dedication for dance-culture. And look out for Jonas Friedlich, playing his Blitz debut tonight, too: the Munich local plays red-hot and mind-bending rhythms from techno and bass music with influences from the most diverse of styles you never knew they even existed.

Wir im Blitz glauben daran, dass gute Partys nicht einfach aus dem Nichts, rein zufällig passieren - sondern dass es Gastgeber*innen mit Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail benötigt, die nichts dem Zufall überlassen. Die 100% für das große Ganze geben und Maßarbeit bis in die letzten Millimeter betreiben. Diese Qualitäten schätzen wir an der kellerkind-Crew, die sich mit ihren Events zurecht einen guten Ruf erarbeitet haben. Denn die Gruppe steht mit ihren beiden Festivals Schall im Schilf und Back To The Woods für subkulturell-orientierte Open Airs mit einem ausgezeichneten Booking an der Schnittstelle von Techno und House, welches den Spagat zwischen internationalen Koryphäen, vielversprechenden Newcomer*innen und lokalen Szeneinstitutionen mit Bravour schlägt. Und mit aufwändigen und kunstvollen Bühnen- und Lichtgestaltungen eine beeindruckende Szenerie entwickeln, in der man sich zu gerne verliert.
Dementsprechend hosten wir mit Freude auch die Aftershow Partys der beiden Festivals. Die Schall im Schilf Aftershow im Juli war bereits ein schweißtreibendes, rauschendes Fest mit zahlreichen, euphorischen Festivalgänger*innen und dementsprechend groß ist die Vorfreude auf die kommende Afterparty zum Back To The Woods Festival! Denn auch an diesem Abend freuen wir uns auf Acts wie KI/KI, die mit nonchalanter Lebendigkeit und Euphorie Trance, House & Techno mit 90ies-Schwerpunkt brilliert. Philippa Pacho und Volvox dagegen werden euch mit dunklen und energiegeladenen Sounds bis in die späten Morgenstunden peitschen.
Aber weil das Rückgrat einer jeden guten Clubnacht die besten Residents sind, spielen niemand geringere als Glaskin auf dem BLITZ Floor und 600-cell auf dem PLUS Floor für euch groß auf. Neben unseren beiden Residents haben wir einen besonderen, internationalen Gast auf dem PLUS Floor: Cashu aus Sao Paolo, die in der Booth mit kantigem Acid-Techno überzeugt und sich als kulturpolitische Aktivistin für lebenswichtige queere Spaces in Sao Paolo einsetzt. Last but not least spielt der Münchner Jonas Friedlich sein Blitz-Debüt! Stellt euch auf die vielfältigsten Rhythmen aus Techno & Bass, mit Einflüssen aus den unterschiedlichsten all der Genres ein, die ihr euch nicht mal in euren kühnsten Träumen ausmalen konntet.
