With the music crossing all Genres from Modern Romantic to Electronic and also Soul Jazz Funk and Pop, Don't forget that the dawn of the Rave was towards the tail end of the decade, and also breakdancing had its space there too, creeping its way into popularity up the ankles of the big band giants of the soft rock era, plus the decades collections of soloists and boy and girl bands, before they were called that...
Yes guilty pleasure are entertained as long as they don't have too much floor clearing capacity, as the party overall is always more important than someones specific request..
