About this Event
Albany Park Baptist Church warmly invites you to an evening with Sam Childers, widely known as the Machine Gun Preacher.
Sam’s remarkable life story — once marked by violence and addiction — was transformed by faith and led him to a mission rescuing vulnerable children in East Africa. His journey inspired the Gerard Butler film Machine Gun Preacher, but hearing his story in person brings a depth and honesty that film cannot fully capture.
During the evening, Sam will share his personal testimony and stories from the work he continues to do helping children affected by conflict.
This promises to be a powerful and inspiring evening, open to everyone in the community.
