? Full Pass (10 Class hours + 3 Parties): Includes workshop right before social dancing on Friday and Saturday night as well as 8 hours of Saturday and Sunday Workshops + social dancing for all 3 nights. Designed for all level of dancers wishing to build their body movements
SYLLABUS / FOCUS
The focus will be on:
1) Understandoing background on body motions in general: where and how does your body move across different planes. Understanding WHAT your body can do is pivotal to actually doing these movements and instrumental in leading a follower into these motions.
2) Understanding and executing transitions as a leader and follower.
3) Understanding waves and reversing them. Transitioning from one plane to another with fluidity.
4) Tremendous focus on styling recommendations with playfulness and musicality for followers AND leaders.
5) Leaders are encouraged to move their bodies MORE as opposed to using their arms to lead their follower.
6) Enhancing Spanish/European -more slow and sensual- movements where motions are S T R E T C H E D over beats/measures instead of always one-motion-per-beat.
