About this Event
Surprise, surprise! We are transitioning into a mahjong lounge in April so for the month of March we will be slowly transitioning our programming into more mahjong focused schedule. For the month of March, entry we will remain at a sliding scale donation with a suggested donation of $10.
This night is for the true players! It's for folks who know how to play mahjong (at least the basic fundamentals of setting up & playing). This night is for scorekeeping, intermediate-advanced play focused but if you're not sure how to keep score, we can coach you.*
Limited space as we can only accommodate 30 at a time, but don't worry we set up a rotation! Please RSVP so you can snag a seat for the lesson!

What is Baba's House?
We are an immersive community event space in downtown Oakland, CA. We focus on events that uplift our BIPOC & creative community. We offer our space to creatives to explore and experiment with their own passions. (IE: Living Room Sessions - creatives can perform for their own private guest list at no cost.
We're working hard to keep this a safe space for folks to convene.
