About b-present
If you don't know who we are, let us fill you in. We are the —a San Diego-based nonprofit established following the devastating loss of 20-year-old Kirsten to cancer in 2016. We improve the quality of life and health outcomes of young adults with cancer through programs that promote and strengthen connections between young adults and their communities of support.
Through two key programs, we amplify the importance of presence before a diagnosis and provide the tools and resources after a diagnosis so young adults feel ready and empowered to be present when their friends need them most. Why? Because every young adult with cancer should feel connected and supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Funds raised during this event will go toward our b-present programs, providing tools and resources that will improve quality of life and support for AYAs with cancer.
